High school juniors and seniors, who are at least 16 years old, can enroll in college courses through Central Community College. Students who take an independent college course will be assigned a studyhall period to complete coursework. If the course is taught by a 7-12 endorsed instructor that is not an employee of St. Paul the student will receive credit for the course but the grade will not be part of their GPA.

Current Dual Credit Courses that receive credit and GPA are Trig, Physics and College Algebra/Stats.

To register for Physics Dual Credit you must receive an ACT Math score of 23 or above or a MAPS Math score of 252 or above. MAPS testing can be taken at CCC free of charge for students wanting to reach the minimum score. Pre-req for Trig is College Algebra or waiver.
Students who have taken dual/college credit courses in MUST request that their transcript be sent to the college they plan to attend in order for the institution to acknowledge credit for those courses.

CCC: See https://www.cccneb.edu/transcript-request for more info on how to request a transcript.
