Scholarships
All local applications are due to Mrs. Camden via Google Classroom on March 11th at midnight! DO NOT add your transcript to the applications until after I have notified you that 1st semester grades have posted. (mid -January) Scholarship applications for local scholarships that use the common application are listed on the left side and the google doc is linked below. Check requirements for local scholarships that have individual applications.

Unofficial transcripts can be viewed/printed in WebCentral at My Services, MyCCC, Student Planning. In Student Planning, click on the academics menu at the top to get the drop-down box and select "unofficial transcript." It will be a PDF that can be downloaded. If you have any questions about transcript services provided by CCC, please call 308-398-7480.
Susan Thompson Buffett Scholarship- EducationQuest provides an annual webinar on Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation Scholarship. Application will open Nov. 1st and is due Feb. 1. 2023-2024 financial portion deadline has been extended to March 15th due to FAFSA change. Updates will be sent out to students as they come in. ***You can submit this scholarship before your 1st semester GPA has posted as long as you are above a 2.0. -
- Two Deadline dates
o February 1 (5:00 p.m. CST) - all documents must be submitted except the FAFSA Submission Summary (previously called the SAR)
o March 15 (5:00 p.m. CST) - FAFSA Submission Summary due
- Determine Financial Need - SAI (Student Aid Index) (previously called the EFC) must be $10,000 or below
o Families can use the NEW Federal Student Aid Estimator, which will calculate/estimate a family’s SAI and/or Pell eligibility
o NOTE: The Buffett Scholarship has not determined what tool will be used for students who are not eligible to file a FAFSA. More details will come as they are finalized.

Make a copy of the google document template for the common application to fill in your information. Use the simple signature add on to sign the application. Insert all additional required information(transcripts etc. into the file before copying and submitting. Your transcript is available on Infinite Campus under "Documents". PLEASE WAIT to add a copy of your transcript into your app until after 1st semester grades are posted. I will let you know when they are ready (mid-January). Letters of recommendation will need to be scanned and inserted into your final documents also. Please watch the tutorial on classroom for help. All applications will be turned in via Google Classroom.

AMGL Accounting Firm Scholarship - 5 ($500) scholarships available for students majoring in business and/or accounting. All business majors are encouraged to apply. Send forms directly to the email on the application by March15th.
AKRS Equipment offers scholarships to select students who want to jump start a career as a Certified Ag Technician.
Health Science Explorers Learning Community. The link to the application and the flyer is below. We do have partial room waiver scholarships available for the program this year and those will be worth approximately $2,000 - $3,000 for the freshmen year.
